The Hardin County Business and Professional Women's Club met at Henry's Restaurant on March 25 at 5:30 p.m. President Sandy Moore welcomed five members and guests Sharron Wells, Christina Cross, and Jesse Purcell. Chairman Charlotte Spencer introduced our speaker.

Egg hunt winners

The Easter Bunny (Dawn Wilson) welcomed children, their parents and grandparents to Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 3.

New exercise

Scarf exercise is a great way to get Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center residents stretching and moving as (from left), Elenor Clawson, Darlene Black, Janette Rofe, Juanita Deringer, Mary Mulligan, Everett Kahley and Joan Ledley found out. The residents moved to the relaxing music and some found muscles they didn’t know they had.

Head Start accepting applications for ’15-’16

The HHWP CAC Head Start program is accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. Head Start is a family-focused, free preschool program for income-eligible children 3 to 5 years old. The program provides education, socialization, nutritional food and health screenings. Families are also given support.
