Latham Chapter 364 Order of the Eastern Star met Monday, March 16 at 6 p.m. for a light meal consisting of a chicken casserole, salad and rolls. The tables were decorated with an Irish theme.

The Kenton Garden Club met Tuesday March 17 at Henry's with eight members present. Donna Cavalier opened the meeting with a poem "The Hope of March".

The Epworth United Methodist Women met March 10 at the church with 11 present. The president opened the meeting, reading “Welcome the Spring.”

The Ada Kiwanis Club met on Tuesday March 17, at noon at the New China Restaurant, Ada. President John Berg called the meeting to order.

Keep Hardin County Beautiful will hold its annual chicken barbecue dinner on Friday, April 10 in the basement of the First United Methodist Church in Kenton from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
