BELLEFONTAINE — When Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s campus was constructed in Bellefontaine 43 years ago, vocational education was a new educational concept in Ohio. Since it opened its schools to students, the need for trained engineering, graphic artist and cosmetology students has persisted, but today there are demands for jobs which didn’t exist in 1974, Superintendent Rick Smith said.
