Wildcat baseball players to take their talents to the next level

A new Cavalier

After playing integral roles on one of the most successful baseball teams in school history this past spring, a pair of graduating Kenton baseball players are planning to take their game to the next level. Wildcat starting pitcher Heath Houser and third baseman Nathaniel Leffler inked National Letters of Intent on Thursday to play baseball collegiately.

DOLA — The Hardin Northern Board of Education is moving forward with plans to construct an athletic complex north of the school. The board, at a special meeting Wednesday night, approved a resolution to advertise for bids for Phase I of the project which includes the construction of a softball field as well as renovation of the current baseball facilities and construction of a gravel parking lot between the two.
