KHS students receive scholarships and awards A total of $130,250 in scholarships was awarded to Kenton High School students at the Senior Awards Day on Tuesday. According to Amy Kohl, KHS counselor, 23 students applied for Dollars for Scholarships, 42 for local scholarships and 44 for the R.E. and Joan Allen Scholarships, Some 77 percent of college-bound seniors applied for at least one scholarship.
