A Lima man was sentenced to prison for nearly two years after he was found guilty of charges in two cases heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

A Kenton woman was placed on community control after she pleaded guilty to charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Haley McKenzie Hayter, 431 E. Carrol St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to one count each of possession of heroin and tampering with evidence.

Quincy D. Owens, 623 E. Franklin St., Kenton – speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone, fined $15. Aquitos Kendale Lawrence, Atlanta, Ga. – speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone, fined $25.

J. Brian Donnelly, 715 W. Kohler St., Kenton – speeding 46 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

Willie O. Collins and wife to Jamie Schmelzer, Inlot 77, Original Plat, Ridgeway. Tax $48.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for eight years and labeled as a Tier II sexual offender after being found guilty of two sexual charges involving a minor in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Judge Steve Christopher has released an account of transactions from his office, the Probate Division of the Hardin County Court of Common Pleas, for the year 2015.

As Jennifer Alger takes on her new role as Hardin County Municipal Court clerk, she looks forward to the opportunity to increase her knowledge in the field. Alger is in her third week as clerk, taking over for the recently retired Eloise Cramer, who had 36 years experience on the job.
