Mobile lab helps ONU serve health needs of county ADA — When a federal report identified Hardin County as being an area short of health professionals, some of the faculty at Ohio Northern University saw the news as a reason to become more involved in the community. Alger gets update on grant projects, learns of village’s future needs ALGER — The Alger council received an update on how the $500,000 Neighborhood Revitalization Grant has been spent in the village at its meeting on Monday night. Village Administrator Paul Osborne told council most of the work is completed which was identified as projects for the funding. Blighted buildings have been removed. Sidewalks at the park have been installed. The storm sewer to lessen the chances of flooding is in place and the updates at the water plant are finished, said Osborne. Read More
