Club to help Forest with plans for eclipse FOREST — The Hardin County Astronomy Club will be helping Forest prepare for the solar eclipse and the anticipated crowd. David Humphreys, president of the club, told council the central line of the eclipse will make the blocked sun visible from Forest longer than it will appear in other areas on April 8, 2024. The eclipse is expected to last about 4 minutes in Forest, compared to 1 minute 35 seconds in Defiance and 3 minutes and 50 seconds in Lima, Humphreys said. Read More
