Many alfalfa and forage stands across the state took a beating this winter and the wet spring has added insult to injury. Forage stands were damaged this past winter, and the wet spring has further deteriorated stands that appeared they might recover. So what are the options to assuring a forage supply for the future?

Arcadia man captured in Kenton after car, foot chase

Driver caught after chase

An Arcadia man was apprehended by Kenton police officers following a car and foot chase on Thursday evening. The arrest of Zachary Spires wrapped up a case that started Wednesday evening with an alert from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office regarding a wanted subject and stolen firearms at a residence in Kenton, according to a release from Chief Dennis Musser.
