R’dale teacher enjoyed helping students understand math After 21 years of teaching full-time at Riverdale Local Schools, and 20 years of substitute teaching before that, Carol Riegle is saying “goodbye” to education and starting a new adventure – retirement. Ohio farmers can seek disaster relief funds to plant cover crops COLUMBUS — Disaster relief funding for farmers to plant cover crops on flooded cropland acreage is available from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service The agency will invest $4 million to help Ohio agricultural producers recover. Technical and financial assistance is now available to producers who were unable to plant their crops, or who have experienced crop loss due to flooded or wet fields.
