ADA — The Presbyterian Women's Guild of Ada will again be holding their Soup and Salad Supper along with the Christmas Auction on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. A variety of eight soups will be available along with salads and desserts for a suggested donation of $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12.

A Forest man was placed on community control after pleading guilty to charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Michael Lee Rigney, 409 W. Gage St., Forest, was found guilty of one count each of possession of heroin and forgery (uttering).

Tuesday An officer was requested to 305 S. High St. in reference to a juvenile issue. A suspicious vehicle was reported at Save-A-Lot.

The Hardin County Players will be presenting "Miracle On 34th Street Radio Play" as a dinner theater. It will be staged at the Forbing Community Center, 122 N. Main St., Kenton on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.

MARION — Auditions for the Marion Palace Theatre’s junior stage production “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” will be on Monday, Dec. 18 and Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Director Emily Yaksic is looking for children ages 7 to 14 years to play a variety of leading and supporting characters for this stage play based on the novel by Lewis Carroll and adapted by Tim Kelly.

ADA – Ohio Northern University’s percussion ensembles will perform at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28 in the Presser Hall recital hall. This concert is free and open to the public.
