LIMA — A concert by the Lima Area Concert Band will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at the Children’s Garden on the campus of the Allen County Museum, 620 W. Market St., Lima.

Nancy Coats, 995 Meadow Lane Apt. B-6, reported the theft of a small TV. A theft report was taken at Walmart.

Members of the Kenton Parks and Recreation Board contemplated the future of Glendale Park during its monthly meeting Tuesday afternoon. Located on the city’s northwest side, Glendale was the home to a skate park for teens.

RIDGEWAY — Another in a series of insulting letters to the Ridgeway officials is increasing the tension between a disgruntled resident and the village. In the letters, Jon Coleman has called council a “thieving spawn of pigs” and accuses the village of discriminating against him for questioning his sewer bill.

Hardin Leadership Inc. and the current Hardin Leadership 2016 participants are planning a training opportunity focused on the nonprofit sector. The session will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at Henry’s Restaurant Banquet Room in Kenton.

Austin D. Phillips, 15431 CR 135, was stopped on E. Columbus Street, making a left turn onto Oriental Street. Larena J. Weaver, 16567 Ohio 67, Forest, approached from the rear of Phillips and struck the vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

DOLA — The Hardin Northern Board of Education hired a new teacher for the school’s agriculture program at a special meeting Monday evening.

In the two months the officers in the Kenton Police Department have been wearing body cameras, Chief Dennis Musser said they have been a sound investment. The decision to purchase the individual cameras was partially a financial consideration, said Musser.
