Bridge work set on CR 200

The Hardin County Engineer’s Office announced it will be closing County Road 200 between Dudley Township Road 217 and County Road 219 for five to eight weeks for bridge replacement.

Sheriff: Body of missing woman found

The body of a Belle Center woman missing for more than two weeks was located Saturday evening. According to Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, his office received information which led to the discovery of the body of Toni Schorr in an area which had previously been searched by investigators.

Meadow Cromer (right) was crowned the 2016 Hardin County Dairy Princess at Saturday’s Dairy Banquet at the Plaza Inn Restaurant. She is a sophomore at Ridgemont High School, and is the daughter of Amanda and Nathan Cromer.
