Big crowd expected in Ada for annual Farmers and Merchants Picnic ADA — The population of Ada will double this weekend with visitors coming from throughout the area to War Memorial Park for the 102nd annual Farmers and Merchants Picnic. Ridgeway man sent to prison for community control violations A Ridgeway man was found to be in violation of his community control release agreement in three cases and was sent to prison for four years in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Matthew C. Radcliffe, whose last known address was Ridgeway, was found to have violated his agreement from a 2009 case in which he was found guilty of robbery. Read More
Online junior fair entries top 2,500 More than 2,500 junior fair online entries were submitted by 810 exhibitors by the July 31 deadline, it was reported at the Hardin County Agricultural Society meeting on Saturday, Aug. 1 at the fairgrounds.
