No truck tug

The Bumper to Bumper truck tug event planned for the 4th of July at the Hardin County Fairgrounds has been canceled.

Hardin County dispatch reported a 9-1-1 call for a domestic disturbance at 980 Meadow Lane Apt. 45. April L. Reid, 531 S. Wayne St., reported finding several items missing from her daughter’s unsecured vehicle.

Ada-Liberty EMS ‘high-quality’ care of heart attack patients earns award

Recognized for saving lives

ADA — The Ada-Liberty EMS was recently awarded the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline 2015 EMS Bronze Performance Achievement Award. The EMS was recognized by the AHA for its focus on “not just ‘high-functioning’ but also ‘high-quality’ STEMI (ST segment elevation myocardial infarction, or severe heart attack) systems of care.”

Midwest Regional ESC hires two administrators

BELLEFONTAINE — The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, which provides educational services to schools in Hardin, Logan and Shelby counties, hired two administrators at its June 25 board meeting. Dave Shellhaas was hired to be the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
