UPPER SANDUSKY — Upper Sandusky High School presents the musical “All Shook Up" this weekend. Performances are 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music will present an opera workshop performance featuring ONU vocal majors in Presser Hall’s Snyder Recital Hall on Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Gerald Eugene Baughman III, 203 N. Main St. Apt. 2, was arrested on a warrant through the Hardin County Municipal Court and issued a summons for drug possession (marijuana).

Correy Osborn doesn’t play with toys as much as many 10-year-old boys might do. But he loves his bike and he loves riding on the school bus every day to attend classes at Simon Kenton. There are many things Correy can’t enjoy, so to find things that give him pleasure is a personal victory, said his mother, Kristi.

A Kenton woman broke down in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning and said stress had caused her to set a fire at her home last summer. Judge Scott Barrett praised defendant Wanda Ratliff for seeking help in dealing with that stress, but was bound by state law to declare her an arson offender.

BELLEFONTAINE — The current Kenton High School principal will be working in Bellefontaine when the new school year begins in August.

Hardin County posted a 4.9 percent unemployment rate in February, according to information released Tuesday by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

BELLEFONTAINE — A 77-year-old Rushsylvania woman admitted Monday she allowed her mother, Blanche Cowen, to live in squalid conditions for years and to eventually die under the care of a mentally-handicapped man barely capable of caring for himself.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Board, at its monthly meeting Tuesday night, condemned a Dunkirk home until the water service to the structure is restored.

A vehicle owned by Jodi Thomas, 128 S. Main St., was parked in the city/county parking lot behind Liberty Bank when it was struck by an unknown vehicle, resulting in minor damage to the left rear quarter panel.
