Car show donation The Kenton Moose Lodge held its 4th annual car show this past weekend, with proceeds from the show being donated to local emergency response units. Victory’s Plaza Inn The Kenton High School class of 1964 reunited for its 55th class reunion at Mount Victory’s Plaza Inn on Saturday, July 27 with 40 classmates and 16 guests. The class was also lucky enough to be honored with the presence of three former teachers: John Murray and Karl and Mary Lou McNeal. Read More

Trophy Bassmasters reel in large haul off of Lake St. Clair The Trophy Bassmasters held their sixth club tournament of the season in the state up north at Lake St. Clair. Twelve members made the journey to the highly productive fishery for the 8 1⁄2 hour day. The lake did not disappoint as 121.92 pounds of bass were brought to the scales by 10 of the members. Biathletes Tommy Mustain and Maddux McFarlin competed in the Dave Staley Aquathlon and Youth Splash and Dash was held in Delaware at Minho Park on Saturday. Mustain (left) completed a 200 meter swim and 1 mile run in a time of 12:01. He was in the 11-15 year old age division. Read More
Blue family has 12th reunion The 12th annual Blue family reunion for the descendants of the family of Harvey Russell and Sarah Jane (McQuown) Blue was held on Saturday, Aug. 3. The location was the First Baptist Church, 1154 CR 175, Kenton. Russell Blue, president of our group, brought ham and brats for everyone as well as beverages and serving ware for all. Everyone else brought delicious sides to share with all the family. Russell offered a prayer of thanks to God for bringing everyone together and thanked Him for all he has given to us.
