Last summer, Kenton Little League organizers brought together five bands at Home Run Memorial Park for a Ball Park Bash to raise money to help offset the costs for the organization. On Aug. 17, Kenton Little League is doing it all over again as it will host the second annual Ballpark Bash. It will feature four bands over a seven-hour period headlined by Mr. Speed, which is billed as “the world’s greatest Kiss cover band.”

Family activities chair Jean Dirkson reported election of officers will be held next meeting. Refreshments will be furnished.

The Kenton High School class of 1959 held its 60-year reunion at the Kenton Elks on Saturday, Aug. 3. Twenty-eight classmates, along with 13 spouses and guests, were in attendance.
