The Night Whites Garden at the Friendship Gardens was designed to include white flowering plants that release their fragrance at night. There are some pollinators that are active at night such as moths, said Master Gardener Kim Thomas.

ADA — The Village of Ada is a SAFER community thanks to residents like Andrew Ward, says Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger, Ward was presented with the SAFER (Seeking Aid From Every Resident) Award during the village council meeting on Tuesday evening. The award was established in 2002 as a way of recognizing residents for their role in the safety and security of the community.

The Kenton Rotary met and heard from Doug Carmean, financial advisor, at its meeting on July 30. Carmean is the newest Edward Jones advisor in Kenton. He shared an overview of Edward Jones including the company’s history, investing philosophy and what makes it unique among other brokerage firms.
