BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan struggled on the offensive end of the floor Wednesday in it’s CBC game against Indian Lake. The Raiders were sharp on the defensive end of the floor however, holding the Lakers to seven points or less in all four quarters on the way to a 36-20 victory over their Logan County rivals.

Parents Robert and Kelly Carder of Kenton announce the accomplishments of their son Ethan Carder in his journey to becoming a veterinarian. Ethan just recently received two-year full-ride scholarship awarded to Ohio State veterinary student through a donation from Dr. and Mrs. C. Richard Beckett who was the pioneer of the pre-veterinary medicine program at the University of Findlay and an OSU College of Veterinary Medicine alumni.

McGUFFEY — Jenna Manns set a school record with seven three-pointers and Kenton placed five players in double figures as the Wildcats ripped Upper Scioto Valley 86-20 in a non-league girls basketball game on Tuesday. Manns had a game-high 23 points for the Wildcats, who led 27-2 after eight minutes and 48-10 by halftime in cruising to their first victory in six games this season.

The Kenton High School bowling teams dropped matches to River Valley on Tuesday night. River Valley won the boys match 2,340-2,121.
