Ada considers options in financing improvements to Wileke Avenue ADA — The Village of Ada is looking into the possibility of using assessments on Willeke Avenue to help with the funding for the street project coming up next year. Agencies hope to save lives with Project Dawn Last year, there were 10 people who died of opioids overdoses in Hardin County, according to Sheriff Keith Everhart. This year there have been a total of 29 overdoses reported and seven deaths through the first six months of 2017. The Kenton-Hardin Health Department is partnering with the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office, the sheriff’s office, Hardin Memorial Hospital and the Hardin County Coroner’s Office in a program to reduce the growing numbers.
