Ridgemont High School will present its production of Seussical at the old Ridgemont gym in Ridgeway this weekend. The musical uses characters created by children’s book author Dr. Seuss with colorful sets and costumes.

Students in Mary Wormley’s seventh grade social studies class at Kenton Middle School, including Liberty Lowe (left) and Zachary Hines, completed their castle projects Wednesday.

Hardin Hills and Rehabilitation Center resident Linda Herricks meets a hedgehog owned by Erica Furr, beautician at the Kenton facility. Furr brought the animal to show to the residents.    

Thirty Kenton High School students were inducted into the Simon Kenton Chapter of the National Honor Society on Tuesday night in the school cafeteria.

The Hardin County Family YMCA Silly Saturday children had a fun morning hunting Leprechauns and playing with puppies on Saturday, March 11. Sean Galvin YMCA executive director, one of our two guests for the morning, shared many items from his homeland including a rugby ball, the flag of Ireland, a special drum and whistle.

Kenton Red competed in the Ohio Northern University Division 1 futsal (indoor soccer) tournaments on Saturday and Sunday and won championships both days.

The Hardin Northern Sixth Grade Boys recently defeated West Jefferson 38-35 to win the Tri-County Basketball Championship in Bellefontaine.
