DEFIANCE — A week ago, the Kenton defense gave up 59 points as the Wildcats suffered a season-opening loss to Coldwater. And while Kenton’s defenders weren’t perfect on the field against Defiance on Friday night, they were perfect where it counted as the Wildcats pitched a 35-0 shutout on the scoreboard in a Western Buckeye League contest.

McGUFFEY — For the second week in a row to start the season, things started well for the Upper Scioto Valley football team, then the Rams found themselves in trouble in the third quarter.
