Brooke Osborn and Jason Marsico are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage. Brooke is the daughter of Mike and Rhonda Osborn of Kenton.

Last Saturday, a trash fire spread to and destroyed a barn at the Buck Township home of Fannie Yoder. By Monday morning, a large group of volunteers from the Amish community spent the day removing the charred debris from the site and the following day, set out to rebuild the structure.

Capital University womens basketball coach and Ridgemont graduate Dixie Jeffers leads a defensive drill Tuesday at the Dixie Jeffers Hardin County Basketball Camp. Approximately 40 girls from grades four through nine came out to learn from the Hall of Fame coach, who is the winningest coach in Ohio Athletic Conference history.
