ADA — The Ada boys track team won a tri-meet with Bluffton and Fort Jennings on Tuesday. Ada finished with 89 points, while Bluffton was second with 70 points and Fort Jennings had 10.

McGUFFEY — Elgin plated five runs in both the third and fifth innings on the way to a 13-2 softball win over Upper Scioto Valley on Tuesday night. Kenz Corbin had three hits with a double, a triple and four RBIs to lead the Comets, who led 2-1 before taking control of the game in the third inning.

MOUNT VICTORY — When Meadow Cromer began her pole vaulting career in the seventh grade, there were not many competitors jumping against her. “I just tried it for the heck of it and liked it in junior high,” the Ridgemont senior recalled.

NORTH BALTIMORE — North Baltimore took control with five runs in the third inning on the way to a 6-1 victory over Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference baseball game on Monday afternoon. Aidan Loveridge had an RBI single in the sixth inning for the Falcons.

Alivia Purtee stayed hot at the plate knocking in five runs on a home run and two doubles to lead the Kenton softball team to a 14-3 victory over Elida in Western Buckeye League softball action on Monday. Jenna Clum added three hits with a double and two RBIs and Jasmine Reisiner had a pair of hits with two RBIs as Kenton scored three runs in both the first and second innings and four in both the third and fourth innings

WAYNESFIELD — Upper Scioto Valley took control early, scoring three runs in the first inning and adding four more in the second, on the way to a 12-2 baseball win over Waynesfield-Goshen on Monday. Jayvin Castle had a two-run double and Quinn Sanders a two-run single.

PANDORA — Hardin Northern scored 15 runs in the first inning and cruised the rest of the way in a 30-0 softball win over Pandora-Gilboa on Monday afternoon. Eleven Polar Bears had RBIs in the game led by Quinn Stewart-Evans, who had two hits and five RBIs and Madison Robson, who had four hits including a triple, a double and three RBIs.
