In Thursday night's 90-36 win over Perry, Priscilla Howland, sitting at 988 points, ended that streak by scoring her 1,000th on a free throw in the second quarter.

PANDORA — Lexie Wright had 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead the way as Riverdale posted a 43-27 Blanchard Valley Conference basketball victory over Pandora-Gilboa on Thursday night.

DOLA — Fort Jennings took control early and then held off Hardin Northern in the second half for a 47-32 win in non-conference girls basketball action on Thursday night.

McGUFFEY — Kaycee Carroll had 27 points for Upper Scioto, but Waynesfield-Goshen was more balanced in the scoring column as the Tigers topped the Rams 57-51 in Northwest Central Conference girls basketball action on Thursday.

BELLEFONTAINE — Jonathan Alder swept Ben Logan in a pair of middle school girls basketball games on Thursday night. The seventh grade Raiders were defeated 41-23.

The Kenton boys basketball team will be looking for its second straight Western Buckeye League victory and third win in a row overall when it travels to Shawnee on Friday night. The Wildcats have won two in a row, including a 52-50 come-from-behind win over Wapakoneta on Tuesday night.

ADA — Nate Burger became the 39th member of Ohio Northern's 1,000-point club in helping lead ONU to an 85-74 overtime victory over Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday evening at the ONU Sports Center. The Polar Bears improve to 14-6 overall and are 9-4 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 14-6, 8-5.

BEREA — The No. 15-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team used a strong second half performance to post a 64-45 victory at Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday night. The Polar Bears improve to 18-2 overall and stay on top of the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 12-1 league record, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 12-8, 8-5.
