Lady Wildcats stave off Arlington, 53-46 Leading 19-4 five minutes into their game against a short-handed Arlington squad, it looked like the Kenton girls basketball team might cruise to an easy victory over the host Red Devils on Saturday. Wildcats push the pace in win over Ada With Kenton ahead 23-18 after eight minutes, Saturday night’s boys basketball battle between the Wildcats and Ada looked like it could turn into a track meet as both teams struggled early on the defensive end of the floor. The Wildcats wasted little time in changing that however, as they forced the Bulldogs into five turnovers during a 13-0 run to start the second quarter and controlled the game from there on the way to a 73-41 victory over their Hardin County rivals.
