The Trophy Bassmasters held their eighth club tournament of the season this past weekend at Lake St. Clair in Michigan. Only seven members made the long journey north.

Riverdale boys soccer coach Jon Hayfield brought in a different voice to talk to his players for a team camp this week, Liam Henshaw. Henshaw, originally from Nottingham, England, is part of the Challenger British Soccer Camps, which bills itself as the most popular soccer camp in the country.

Beau Harmon’s college football career has not gone exactly the way he envisioned. The 2013 Ben Logan graduate had high expectations when he joined the University of Cincinnati football team as a walk-on.

The Kenton soccer team recently traveled to a 7-on-7 tournament at Mount Vernon Nazarene and both teams placed in the top three.

The par 3 challenge for members was held Friday evening with people signing up as a twosome and then a blind draw to see whom they were paired with to get your final score. The winners of this challenge were Rob Davis and Bob Davis who were paired with Joe and Sandy Prater for a total of 108.

Recent Kenton High School graduate Britton Hensel and Upper Scioto Valley’s Brady Hipsher were third in their respective age groups at the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association’s stop at Veterans Memorial Golf Course on Thursday.
