BELLEFONTAINE — George Kern scored all three Ben Logan goals as the Raiders defeated Jackson Center 3-1 in a non-league boys soccer matchup on Tuesday.

VAN WERT — The Ada girls soccer team received two goals each from Bella East and Ella Poling and fired 44 shots on goal on the way to a 7-2 win over Crestview in Northwest Conference action on Tuesday night.

BELLFONTAINE — The Ben Logan golf team split a tri-match with Kenton and Fort Loramie on Tuesday afternoon at Cherokee Hills. Fort Loramie won the match with a team score of 170, while the Raiders were next wit a 176, followed by the Wildcats at 180.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Upper Scioto Valley golf team defeated Riverside 193-202 in a match on Tuesday afternoon. Brady Hipsher led the way for the Rams, carding a 38 to earn medalist honors.

WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield-Goshen topped Ridgemont 180-228 in a Northwest Conference dual meet at Prairie View Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon. Carson James carded a 48, recording one birdie and three pars, to lead the Gophers. Lynson Roof chipped in with a 53 and had one par. Waynesfield’s Jaden Maxwell fired a 43 to earn medalist honors.

The host Kenton girls soccer team kept it close against unbeaten and state-ranked Wapakoneta for nearly 60 minutes. However the floodgates opened after Marissa Raney netted a goal with 21:26 left in the game to put the Redskins ahead by two goals and the visitors scored three more times in the final 20 minutes on the way to a 5-0 Western Buckeye League win.

LIMA — Shawnee defeated Kenton 4-1 in a Western Buckeye League tennis match on Monday. The lone winner for the Wildcats was Kelsey Flowers, who bested Lade Onamusi in a third set super tiebreaker 7-5, 2-6, 10-5.

NORTH LEWISTOWN — Bryan Casiano had two goals and Nate Allen added a goal and an assist as Ada defeated Indian Lake 4-1 in a non-league soccer match on Monday. Logan Williams and Chris Reyes added goals for the Bulldogs, who improve to 4-1 on the season.

BELLEFONTAINE — Graham defeated Ben Logan 170-183 in a Central Buckeye League golf match on Monday. Will Kenoyer and Ethan Ricketts both carded 44s to lead the Raiders.
