BELLEFONTAINE — George Kern netted three goals and Rylan Studebaker netted two goals as Ben Logan defeated River Valley 6-0 in a non-league boys soccer game on Wednesday. Peter Kratz also tallied for the Raiders, who improve to 2-1 on the season.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Elida edged Riverdale 2-1 in a non-league girls soccer matchup on Wednesday night.

HARROD — Ada resident Bob Simmons had his first hole in one at Colonial Golfers Club on Wednesday.

LIMA — Lima Central Catholic defeated Kenton 5-0 in a non-league girls tennis match on Wednesday. LCC blanked the Wildcats at No. 1 and No. 2 singles as Olivia Kesner defeated Mykaela Schriber 6-0, 6-0 and Anna Jankowski was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Abby Hartshorn.

HARROD — The Upper Scioto Valley golf team topped Arlington 196-204 in a non-league match at Colonial Golfers Club on Wednesday.

SPRINGFIELD — Kenton Ridge defeated Ben Logan in a non-league golf match 171-179 on Wednesday at The Elks Course. The Raiders were led by Ethan Ricketts with a 42, Garrett Allen and Carter Stewart with 45s and Bryce Loomis with a 47.

BELLEFONTAINE — The host Ben Logan boys were second of nine teams with 58 points at the Ben Logan Early Bird Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. Jonathan Alder had four of the top six runners to win the meet with 28 points.

McGUFFEY — Madisyn and Sidney Gossard set them up and Melina Woods knocked them down to lead the Ada Bulldogs to a volleyball victory over Upper Scioto Valley on Tuesday by a score of 25-12, 25-9, 25-8. Woods racked up 25 kills to lead the Bulldogs, and Madisyn and Sidney Gossard recorded 19 and 14 assists, respectively.

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Kenton High School girls cross country team was sixth of 12 teams at the Upper Sandusky Icebreaker meet on Tuesday afternoon. Sammie Unger led the way for the Lady Wildcats, placing 15th in the 152-runner field in a time of 21:50.95.
