ADA — Local parents involved with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo are hosting the 4th Annual “Getting Dirty for Downs” Mud Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, July 15 at Ada War Memorial Park. The tournament, presented by Ohio Logistics, draws players from across the Northwest Ohio community and beyond.

KIRBY — A cross country 5K run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 29, as part of the Kirby Festival. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of the run.

More than 600 swimmers and 2,500 people are expected to descend upon Kenton this weekend when the Kenton Area Swim Team Stingrays host the Western Ohio Aquatic League meet. It will be the third time the Stingrays have hosted the two-day meet at the city pool and the first time since 2014.
