BLUFFTON — The men’s and women’s soccer teams at Bluffton University will host a Soccer Day Camp from June 12 through June 15. The camp is open to girls and boys ages 5-13, with sessions taking place from 6-8 p.m. each evening.

The second farm White Sox defeated the Dodgers 11-6 on Tuesday. The White Sox were led at the plate by Karsen Sprang, who had a home run, a triple and a single.

Miranda Gibson has been an integral part of the Kenton High School track and cross country teams the past four years, including being a member of the regional qualifying 4 by 100 meter relay teams the past two springs. The Kenton senior signed a National Letter of Intent last week to take her talents to and continue her education at Wilmington College in the fall.

ADA — Ada High School graduate Kendra Paul will be among seven members of the Ohio Northern men's and women's outdoor track and field team competing at the 2017 NCAA Div. III Outdoor National Championships beginning Thursday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Kenton had five baseball players selected to the 2017 All-Western Buckeye League teams released on Monday. Junior shortstop/pitcher Trent Reichelderfer was the Wildcats only first-team selection.

Thirty Kenton High School student-athletes were recognized as All-Academic Western Buckeye League on Monday. In order to earn all-academic WBL honors, seniors must have a 3.75 or higher grade point average for seven semesters and have earned three varsity letters in a recognized WBL sport.

The second farm White Sox beat the Reds 9-4 on Wednesday night. Leading hitters for the White Sox were Brennan "Tank" Heberling with 2 triples and 4 RBIs, and Xavier Gammon who went 3 for 3 with two singles and a home run.

The 13th Annual Hardin County Golf Foundation Memorial Tournament will be contested on Saturday. Long time members and contributors to the golfing community Jerry and Kay Fiebiger and Paul and Evelyn Bishop will be honored.

FINDLAY — Hardin Northern’s Nick Bame and Upper Scioto Valley’s Megan Carey represented their schools at Saturday’s Division III district track meet in Findlay by earning two district championships apiece and qualifying for the regional meet in Tiffin.

ST. PARIS — Benjamin Logan’s Gave VanDyke captured the Division II district championship in the 300 meter hurdles at the district meet at Graham High School on Saturday.
