ADA — Top-seeded Ohio Northern topped No. 2 seed Heidelberg in five sets to claim the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Volleyball Championship on Saturday.

ADA — Ohio Northern scored on all seven of its first half possessions and cruised to an 80-3 Ohio Athletic Conference football victory over Wilmington on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — John Carroll defeated No. 8 ranked Ohio Northern 3-2 in penalty kick shootout to win the Ohio Athletic Conference championship Saturday.

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team fell 2-1 Saturday evening to No. 2-seeded Mount Union at Kerscher Stadium in the OAC Championship Tournament game.

After that, things went the way of host Port Clinton as the Redskins scored the next 28 points to take a commanding lead before holding off a Raider second-half rally for a 41-28 victory....

Upper Scioto Valley senior Gavin Boehm didn’t take the traditional approach toward earning a college athletic scholarship. Despite not competing for a high school team, Boehm recently signed a letter of intent to bowl for the University of Northwestern Ohio.

Ten Benjamin Logan Raiders received Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division first team all-league football honors for 2016.

Riverdale and Ada each had two players selected to the North Central Ohio Soccer Association’s boys soccer first team.

A pair of Riverdale juniors were named to the North Central Ohio Soccer Association girls soccer first team. Forward Gabi Rodriguez and midfielder Reygan Frey were selected to the top team.
