BL grad Thompson doesn’t get ‘discouraged’

BELLEFONTAINE — If Alex Thompson was to give one piece of advice to aspiring college students it would be, “Don’t get discouraged.” Thompson, a 2014 Ben Logan graduate and soon to be junior volleyball player at Queens University of Charlotte, has had plenty of chances to be discouraged in her career.

Riverdale boys soccer coach Jon Hayfield brought in a different voice to talk to his players for a team camp this week, Liam Henshaw. Henshaw, originally from Nottingham, England, is part of the Challenger British Soccer Camps, which bills itself as the most popular soccer camp in the country.
