LIMA — Hardin Northern scored three runs early and three runs late to defeat Perry 6-3 in Northwest Central Conference softball Monday.

WAYNESFIELD — Upper Scioto Valley outscored Waynesfield-Goshen 10-4 over the final three innings to grab a 13-8 victory on the road Monday in Northwest Central Conference baseball.

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Kenton boys placed fourth out of eight teams Saturday at the Gerald Swankhouse Invitational track and field meet hosted by Upper Sandusky.

DOLA — The Riverdale Falcons girls and boys track teams took first and second place, respectively, at the Hardin Northern Invitational on Saturday. With 117.5 points, the Riverdale girls took first place, while Ada (80), Hardin Northern (58) and Upper Scioto Valley (49) girls teams took third through fifth places.

FINDLAY — The bats were working for the Kenton softball team against Liberty-Benton on Saturday as the Wildcats took a 13-0 victory. A two-run first inning set the pace for the Wildcats, and a four-run second opened up the lead to 6-0.

McGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley softball team split a doubleheader against Lehman Catholic on Saturday, grabbing a 6-3 win in game one and falling in game two 5-0. After scoring the opening run of the game in the first, USV opened up a 6-3 lead after a five-run fourth inning to put them on top.

SHELBY — The Riverdale baseball team fell in both games of a doubleheader against Shelby on Saturday, losing 10-0 and 9-2. A six-run fourth inning put Shelby up 9-0 against the Falcons, who finished the game with one hit and three errors.

ARLINGTON — Ada was bested in a doubleheader against on Arlington on Saturday, falling 10-2 and 19-4. After scoring the opening run of the first game, the Bulldogs gave up two five-run innings to Arlington.

ADA — The Ada Bulldogs softball team split a doubleheader on Saturday against Minster, taking game one 2-0 and falling in game two 8-4. In game one, single runs in the second and third innings was all it took for the Bulldogs to come out on top.

WEST LIBERTY — A two-run seventh inning was good enough to give the Benjamin Logan baseball team the edge in an 8-6 win over West Liberty on Saturday. Following two scoreless innings, both teams broke out in the third with two-run innings.
