DeGRAFF — Riverside scored the final four runs Thursday to top Hardin Northern 4-2 in Northwest Central Conference softball. The Polar Bears (7-4, 6-2 NWCC) scored twice to take the lead in the second inning.

DeGRAFF — Riverside defeated Hardin Northern 11-0 in five innings Thursday in Northwest Central Conference baseball. The Pirates scored four runs in the first, five in the fourth and ended the game with a pair runs in the bottom of the fifth.

LIMA — Upper Scioto Valley jumped out to an 11-run lead and held on to defeat Temple Christian 18-13 in Northwest Central Conference baseball Thursday. The Rams scored three runs in the top of the first and eight in the second for the 11-0 lead.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale baseball rallied from a 7-0 deficit in the first inning and won its seventh straight game, 9-8, against McComb on Wednesday.

RIDGEWAY — Hardin Northern got an RBI double from Micheala Curtis in the top of the eighth inning to grab a 5-4 victory over Ridgemont in Northwest Central Conference softball Wednesday. Shelby Alloway led off the top of the eighth with a singe and went to second when Ashton Dye drew a walk.

RIDGEWAY — Ridgemont scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to put away Hardin Northern, 14-4, in a five-inning victory in Northwest Central Conference baseball Wednesday.

Marysville edged Kenton 3-2 in nonconference boys tennis action Wednesday. “We played a lot better tennis tonight,” Kenton coach Keith Kissling said.

OTTAWA — The Kenton boys placed third Tuesday in a quad track and field meet hosted by Ottawa-Glandorf. The Wildcats scored 42.5 points, 6.5 more than the host Titans.

BLUFFTON — Upper Scioto Valley placed second in both the boys and girls portions of a track and field tri-meet hosted by Bluffton on Tuesday. The Rams scored 64.33 points on the boys side, four behind Bluffton.

WAYNESFIELD — Ada picked up its first win of the season Wednesday, topping Waynesfield-Goshen 10-9 in eight innings in nonconference baseball action. The Bulldogs scored two runs in the top of the first and led 7-1 after three innings.
