DEFIANCE — Defiance jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings and held on to defeat Kenton 5-2 in Western Buckeye League softball Tuesday.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgemont girls track and field team won a tri-meet it hosted Tuesday. The Gophers scored 64 points, nine more than second-place Waynesfield-Goshen. Elgin scored 36 points.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale used a huge two-out rally to push across five runs in the top of the seventh inning and take an 8-3 non-conference baseball victory Tuesday against Allen East.

LEWISTOWN — Ben Logan scored a run in the top of the seventh inning to defeat Indian Lake 3-2 in Central Buckeye Conference softball Tuesday.

OTTOVILLE — Ada was dominant again Tuesday, defeating Ottoville 18-1 in five innings in nonconference softball to move to 5-0 on the season.

DEFIANCE — Kenton suffered its first tennis loss of the season Tuesday, falling 3-2 to Defiance.

LEWISTOWN — Ben Logan scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat Indian Lake 8-4 in Central Buckeye Conference baseball Tuesday.

WAYNESFIELD — Hardin Northern exploded for seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to grab a 12-2 victory over Waynesfield-Goshen in Northwest Central Conference baseball Tuesday.

COLUMBUS — The Dance Fuzion Studio Team from Bellefontaine and Ada recently competed at the KAR Dance Competition and performed well. In eight and under jazz solo, Josey Queen and Madisen Oakes were both awarded a top first place. Queen was ninth overall.
