Kenton was dominant Wednesday in its 4-1 Western Buckeye League girls tennis victory over Elida. The win clinched a winning WBL record for the Wildcats (9-5, 5-3 WBL). “It’s really nice for our program,” Kenton coach Keith Kissling said.

BASCOM — Araeha Dodge had 13 kills and Carrol Pauley had 10 kills and 16 digs as the Riverdale volleyball team defeated Hopewell-Loudon, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-11, on Wednesday night.

FINDLAY — A short-handed Riverdale girls soccer team could not hold a halftime lead and suffered its first loss, 2-1, at Liberty-Benton on Wednesday.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan struggled in its Central Buckeye Conference girls soccer home opener Wednesday. Springfield Shawnee defeated the Raiders 7-1.
