PANDORA — Riverdale completed its regular season with a four-set loss to Pandora-Gilboa on Monday evening. The Rockets – who won 25-15, 25-17, 0-25, 25-22 – forfeited the third set because of a player having too many sets played.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan defeated Ada 8-0 in nonconference girls soccer Monday night. The Raiders led 4-0 at halftime. Kenzie Heater and Shelby Kramer each scored two goals for Ben Logan.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale was shut out for just the second time all season Monday, falling 1-0 to Swanton in nonconference girls soccer. The Bulldogs (13-3) broke a scoreless draw with a goal in the second half.

PORT CLINTON — Kenton High School’s Claire Oates knew she had a spot in the state tennis tournament locked up before her district semifinal matchup with top-seeded and defending state runner-up Olivia Rorhbacher of Perkins on Saturday morning.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Practice paid off for Riverdale in one area Saturday morning. Nathaniel Hughes curled in a corner kick for a goal early in the first half, and it was good enough for the Falcons to take a 1-0 victory against Upper Sandusky in a boys North Central Ohio Soccer Association match.

ADA — Kaitlyn Long tied the Ada school record with five goals Saturday in the Bulldogs’ 7-2 victory over Paulding. It was Ada’s second straight win and the Bulldogs (2-10-2) are 2-1-1 in their last four matches.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale won a close first set before taking its non-league volleyball match in three against Waynesfield-Goshen on Saturday, 25-23, 25-5, 25-17. Taylor Farmer was dominant from the service line for the Falcons (9-12), going 31-of-32 with seven aces.

DOLA — Hardin Northern swept Vanlue in nonconference volleyball Saturday. The Polar Bears (15-6) won 25-16, 25-10, 25-16.

Ada earned the highest seed for the volleyball postseason among area teams. The Bulldogs (19-2) are the No. 2 seed in the Division IV Ottawa District.
