Pair of Falcon girls aim to place at state

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale sophomore Carrol Pauley and junior Aubreah Manns have accomplished a lot this track and field season, but one item still remains on the “to-do list” — place at state. Pauley, who said she did track and field because her twin sister (Cara) wanted to do it and didn’t want to do it alone, has turned into a prolific field athlete in just her sophomore season.

Swing thoughts: June 3, 2015

The First Farm Indians rallied late in the game to beat the Reds 4-3 on Monday afternoon. Alex Furr pitched the first 3 1/3 innings for the Indians, followed by Kyle Thrush and Sean Kuhlman.

Kenton plans basketball camp

The Kenton High School boys basketball program will be conducting its youth summer camp for boys entering grades 3-6 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 29-July 2 in the KHS gymnasium.
