UPPER SANDUSKY — Taylor Emerick scored a school-record seven goals and added two assists as Upper Sandusky overcame a slow start to roll to a 10-3 victory against Ada in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association boys soccer match Tuesday. Emerick broke the record of six goals scored by Derrick Skillman in 2009.

DOLA — The end of the second game didn’t go the way Hardin Northern coach Erika Uitto wanted it to Tuesday night. She told her team that and the Polar Bears responded, going on to beat Elida 25-23, 25-27, 25-19, 25-13 in nonconference volleyball.

LEWISTOWN – The Ben Logan boys cross country team placed second at the Logan County Cross Country meet on Tuesday night. Leading the way for Ben Logan was Cameron Johnson, who placed fifth in 17:55.

Kenton edged Liberty-Benton in a boys golf match Tuesday night at Memorial Park Golf Course in which the top five players on both teams all shot 43 or better. The Wildcats (7-0), who remain undefeated in dual meets, won 157-163.

ENON — Ben Logan defeated Greenon in four sets Tuesday to win its Central Buckeye Conference volleyball opener. The Raiders (2-3, 1-0 CBC) won 25-12, 20-25, 25-16, 25-11.

OTTAWA — Kenton picked up its second Western Buckeye League girls tennis 5-0 victory on Tuesday, this time topping Ottawa-Glandorf.

ADA — The Ada girls tennis team was topped by St. Marys 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs (10-4) got wins at first and third singles.

Ridgemont defeated Riverdale 202-237 in nonconference golf Tuesday at Memorial Park Golf Course. Ridgemont’s Devin Mouser shot 40 to earn medalist honors.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan lost its first Central Buckeye Conference boys golf match in more than two years Tuesday at Liberty Hills. Graham defeated Ben Logan 167-168.

ADA — After winning the third game, Ben Logan seemed to be a roll and it appeared as if the Raiders would push Ada to a fifth game in nonconference volleyball Monday night. The Bulldogs had a different idea.
