LIMA — The Kenton softball team couldn’t come up with the clutch hit early in its Division III district game against Sherwood Fairview on Tuesday afternoon. And in the end it proved costly as the Apaches got several big hits on the way to an 8-0 victory at Lima Bath High School.

Ben Logan dominant in district tune-up

SPRINGFIELD — Ben Logan scored five runs in the first inning and crossed home plate six more times in the second frame on the way to a 14-1 rout of Springfield Northeastern in a non-conference baseball game on Tuesday afternoon.
