Wildcats win sectional crown For the second time in four years the Kenton softball team is sectional champions. The Wildcats reached that feat on Friday night by putting three runs on the scoreboard in the third inning and then holding off visiting Ottawa-Glandorf the rest of the way for a 4-2 victory. Wildcats lose in pitchers’ duel ST. MARYS — Kenton’s Tristan Reichelderfer and St. Marys’ Nathan Wilker were locked into an old-fashioned pitcher’s duel during Thursday’s sectional baseball final. It was the Wildcats that finally caved as a pair of errors on the same play in the fifth inning led to two St. Marys run as the Roughriders would go on to a 3-0 victory. Read More
