VANLUE — Vanlue built a large lead early and then held and coasted through the second half on the way to a 72-50 victory over Hardin Northern in a Blanchard Valley Conference matchup on Friday night.

Eight bad minutes doomed the Kenton girls basketball team on Thursday night. Leading by four points at halftime, the visiting Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Wildcats 17-2 in the third quarter to break open the game

ADA — Ada imposed its will in the paint both offensively and defensively against Bluffton in the second and third quarters of a Northwest Conference girls basketball game Thursday night.

LIMA — Upper Scioto Valley outscored Perry by 18 points in the first quarter and cruised from there for a 68-23 Northwest Central Conference girls basketball victory Thursday night.

DOLA — McComb outscored Hardin Northern in each of the first three quarters Thursday night and held on for a 58-42 victory in Blanchard Valley Conference girls basketball.

NORTH LEWISBURG — Ben Logan outscored host Triad 24-4 in the second quarter to take control on the way to a 62-50 victory in non-conference girls basketball action on Thursday night.
