ADA — Ada was unable to overcome a slow start against visiting Lincolnview as the Lancers built a 16-point lead by halftime on the way to a 60-43 victory in a Northwest Conference basketball matchup on Friday.

URBANA — Ben Logan was unable to overcome an eight-point first half as the Raiders fell to Urbana 68-36 in a CBC Mad River Division contest on Friday.

FINDLAY — Liberty-Benton wasted little time in going to work against Hardin Northern, outscoring the Polar Bears 28-6 in the first quarter and cruising the rest of the way on the way to an 81-20 victory in Blanchard Valley Conference action on Friday night.

The Ridgemont seventh grade girls basketball team advanced to the Northwest Central Conference championship game with a 39-36 win over Lima Perry on Thursday night.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgemont girls basketball team fell behind early against Elgin and was unable to recover as the Comets rolled to a 50-22 victory in a non-league girls basketball contest on Thursday night.
