FORT JENNINGS — Tyler Hart and Mitchell O’ Flaherty netted two goals each to lead Riverdale to a 6-0 boys soccer win over Fort Jennings on Tuesday. Logan Frey and Coby Miller added goals for the Falcons, who led 4-0 at halftime. Jevin Martin had an assist.

NORTH LEWISBURG — The Ben Logan girls cross country team was third of 11 teams with 69 points at the Triad Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. Winning the meet was Tecumseh with a score of 24 points. The Raiders were led by sophomore Dani Widmark, who covered the 3.1 mile course in a season’s best time of 20:38. She placed second in a field of 52 runners. Winning the meet was Kylee Mastin from Tecumseh in a time of 19:41

LIMA — Lima Central Catholic swept Ada in three sets 25-19, 25-22, 25-14 in a non-league volleyball match on Tuesday night. Megan Light led the Bulldogs with 10 kills, 11 digs and 6 blocks.

CELINA — Ridgemont’s Sarah Bash and Hannah Shoffner played in the Division II Girls Golf Sectional held at Celina Lynx Golf Course on Tuesday. Shoffner shot a 105 with two pars to finish 31st of 59 golfers, while Bash finished with a 122 with one par and tied for 50th.

VAN WERT — The Kenton boys soccer team defeated Van Wert 5-0 on Tuesday night to improve to 7-2-3 on the season and 3-1-2 in Western Buckeye League play. It was the seventh shutout of the season for the Wildcats.

ADA — Bluffton defeated Ada 3-0 in a Northwest Conference boys soccer match on Tuesday. Grant Preston had 8 saves for the Bulldogs, who had a seven-game winning streak snapped and fall to 7-3-1 on the season.

Earlybird registration is underway for the Hardin County Family YMCA Sea Dragons, a competitive swim team. Those who register by the Sept. 30 deadline will pay a discounted price of $105 for the short season (regularly $130) or $240 for the full season (regularly $265).

The Kenton Middle School volleyball teams split a pair of matches with Shawnee on Tuesday. Kenton won the seventh grade match 25-15, 25-17, while Shawnee took the eighth grade match 25-1, 25-16. Individual statistics were not received.

Ada defeated Kenton 26-24, 25-18, 25-20 in non-league volleyball action on Monday. Megan Light led the way for the Bulldogs at the net with 20 kills and 2 blocks, while Miranda Wills chipped in with 8 kills and Josie Poling had 5 kills.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Benjamin Logan Varsity Volleyball Team improved to 11-4 after a four-set – 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 25-19 – win over Riverside in their annual "Fight 4 Family" match. Molly Vance had a big night for the Raiders, recording 14 kills and 20 points serving with 5 aces. Ryelle Gibson tallied 7 kills.
