Falcons still unbeaten

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Jackson Clark had two goals and as assist and Coby Miller had a goal and two assists to lead Riverdale to a 5-0 North Central Ohio Soccer Association victory over Liberty-Benton on Thursday night. The Falcons, who improve to 5-0-3 on the season, led 3-0 at halftime on goals by Miller in the 17th minute, Clark in the 18th minute and Drew Frey in the 27th minute.

Ben Logan volleyball sweeps Kenton Ridge

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan got past Kenton Ridge 28-26, 26-24, 25-23 in a Central Buckeye Conference cross-divisional volleyball match on Thursday. The Raiders improve to 9-3 overall. Bailey Shope led the Ben Logan attack with a career-high 12 kills and 2 blocks. Molly Vance added 9 kills and 10 digs defensively.

Kenton golf team ninth at WBL tournament

LIMA — Kenton ended the golf season with a ninth place finish in the Western Buckeye League tournament shooting a team score of 400 at Tamarac Golf Course. Ethan Wirbel led the Wildcats with a 92, followed by Trey Jeffries with a 95 Lucas Hites with a 101 and Noah Ketcham with a 112.

USV 4th, R’mont 6th at NWCC golf tourney

WAYNESFIELD — Upper Scioto Valley was fourth of six teams and Ridgemont was sixth at the Northwest Central Conference golf tournament at Prairie View Golf Club on Thursday. The Rams, who fired a team score of 385, were paced by Tyler Gratz with a 92. Quinn Sanders added a 93, followed by Jared Hunt with a 95 and Drew Stephens with a 105.

L-B shuts down Lady Falcons

FINDLAY — Liberty-Benton was outshot 12-8 by Riverdale on Wednesday night. Unfortunately for the Falcons, the host Eagles put five shots of those shots in the goals, while Riverdale was unable to net any in a 5-0 loss in girls North Central Ohio Soccer Association action.
