BELLEFONTAINE — The Benjamin Logan Middle School volleyball teams swept a home match with Bellefontaine Wednesday night. The seventh grade Raiders won in two sets, 25-16, 25-22.

Lima Senior defeated Kenton 26-24, 25-20, 25-22 in a non-league volleyball match on Tuesday night. Leading the way for the Lady Wildcats was Jenna Manns with 11 digs and 7 kills. Lindsey Smith added 8 kills and 3 aces.

Ridgemont’s Nikki Freshcorn and Jennifer Jordan attempt to block the spike of a Lehman Catholic player during the Gophers 25-3, 25-8, 25-15 loss to the Cavaliers on Tuesday night. The Gophers drop to 1-5 on the season. Statistics were not received from the match.

BLUFFTON — Kenton got victories in two of the three singles matches, but could not pull out a win in doubles play as the Lady Wildcats fell to Bluffton 3-2 in high school tennis action on Tuesday. Winning in singles play for the Wildcats was Mykaela Schriber and Grace Collins.

MOUNT BLANCHARD —Riverdale and Bluffton played to a 0-0 tie in a non-league boys soccer matchup on Tuesday night. The Falcons outshot the Pirates 5-2 in the match and both teams had 5 corner kicks.

LEWISTOWN — Ben Logan swept Indian Lake 25-13, 25-16, 25-17 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball matchup on Tuesday night. The Raiders improve to 8-3 overall and 5-0 in league play.

HARROD — Allen East defeated Ada 25-22, 25-27, 19-25, 25-18, 17-15 in a Northwest Conference volleyball match Tuesday night. Megan Light had 25 kills and 5 blocks to lead Ada at the net, while adding 28 digs defensively.

DOLA — Hardin Northern got past Perry 25-23, 23-25, 26-24, 25-20 in a Northwest Central Conference volleyball matchup on Tuesday night. Renee Newton had 8 kills and 2 blocks to lead the Polar Bear attack and 5 aces serving. She added 4 digs defensively.

NEW KNOXVILLE — Jacob Poling had three goals and Skyler Williams added two goals as Ada cruised past New Knoxville 6-1 in non-league boys soccer action on Tuesday. Carter Conley also added a goal for the Bulldogs, who have won six straight games and improve to 6-2-1 on the season.

HARROD — Riverdale’s Andrew Kuenzli fired a low round of 37, but Upper Scioto Valley was more consistent throughout its lineup as the Rams nipped the Falcons 187-188 in a non-league golf match on Tuesday. Tyler Gratz led the way for the Rams with a 41. He was followed by Jared Hunt with a 45, Quinn Sanders with a 49 and Drew Stephens with a 52.
