Little league: June 4, 2019 The Major League Braves defeated the Pirates 11-1 under the lights Monday night. Bam Bam Wilkinson led the Braves by going 3-3 with a home run, a triple and a single and also retired the last three batters of the game on the mound. 3rd Punky’s Pace 5K to be held July 6 RIDGEWAY — The third annual Punky’s Pace 5K run/walk will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 6 behind the old Ridgemont High School near the track and football field. Registration and packet pick-up is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The cost for pre-registraion is $25. Those pre-registered are guaranteed a shirt. The registration form must be postmarked by June 14. After June 14 through the day of the race the cost is $30 and a shirt is not guaranteed. Awards will be given to the top overall make and female and top masters male and female.
