BLUFFTON — The Ada golf team finished third in a Northwest Conference golf match with Crestview, Columbus Grove and Lincolnview on Tuesday afternoon. Ethan Hull and Brevin Sizemore both carded 46s to lead the Bulldogs, who finished with a team score of 196.

The Kenton Middle School seventh grade football team defeated Bath 30-28 on Tuesday afternoon. Korbin Johnston threw for three touchdowns and ran in two two-point conversions. Quinn Refner, Dawson Miller and Trenton Delong all caught touchdown passes. Grady Kleman also ran for a touchdown.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — In a game played primarily between the 18-yard boxes, Kenton and Riverdale encountered few threatening goal-scoring opportunities, playing to a 0-0 draw in Saturday night’s non-conference boys soccer match.

Kenton’s Ethan Wirbel shot a 42 to earn medalist honors and the Wildcats won the team championship with a team score of 193 at the annual Bill McClain Memorial Hardin County Golf Invitational on Saturday at Memorial Park Golf Course.

ADA — Ada swept a volleyball tri-match with Hardin Northern and Arlington on Saturday. The Bulldogs defeated Arlington in two games 25-23, 25-19.

WAPAKONETA —Led by Kiki Krohmer’s ninth place finish, the Kenton girls cross country team was fourth of 12 teams at the Wapakoneta Night Invitational on Saturday. Krohmer finished in a time of 20:34.4 in the 112-runner field.

The Kenton girls soccer team improved to 6-0 on the season with a 6-1 win over Coldwater on Saturday. Hannah Holland tallied four goals and Sidney Plott added two more tallies to lead the Wildcats.
