LIMA — The Kenton tennis team earned its first team win of the season on Wednesday, a 5-0 victory over Lima Senior. Winning at first singles for the Wildcats was Mykaela Schriber who topped Abby Beck 6-0, 6-0. At No. 2 singles, Lily Osborn bested Lima Senior's Nevaeh Sheeter 6-3, 6-2 and in the No. 3 match, Grace Collins won over Tatiana Gaston 6-3, 6-3.

LaRUE — Elgin and Kenton tied 219-219, but the Comets won a scorecard tiebreaker to defeat the Wildcats in a high school girls golf match on Wednesday. Eden Cronley fired a 47 to earn medalist honors for Kenton. Grace Hattery added a 51, Anna Longbrake a 52 and Kennedie Farthing a 69.

Upper Scioto Valley defeated Ridgemont 183-253 in a Northwest Central Conference golf match on Wednesday afternoon at Memorial Park Golf Course. Tyler Gratz shot a 42 to lead the Rams and earn match medalist honors. Also for USV, Quinn Sanders and Jared Hunt both carded 45s and Evan Lyle had a 51.

LIMA — The Kenton girls held off Bath 4-3 in a Western Buckeye League soccer opener on Tuesday night.

ELIDA — Riverdale scored twice in the final two minutes to lift itself to a 3-3 tie with Elida in a non-league boys soccer matchup on Tuesday night.

PLAIN CITY — Jonathan Alder swept Ben Logan in three sets 25-17, 25-16, 25-21 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball matchup on Tuesday night.

LEWISTOWN — The Ben Logan girls cross country team placed second in Tuesday’s Logan County Championships with a score of 41 points. Bellefontaine won the meet with 28 points.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan boys golf team defeated Northwestern 182-205 at Reid Park on Tuesday.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan girls golf team defeated North Union 167-237 in a Central Buckeye Conference match on Tuesday afternoon at Liberty Hills.

ADA — Molly Vance recorded a season high 12 kills as Ben Logan swept Ada 25-18, 25-11, 27-25 in a non-league volleyball matchup on Monday night. Kylie Frazier and Lynzee Cronkleton added 7 kills and 13 assists apiece for the Raiders, who took control with seven straight points to end game one and were never challenged in game two.
